Suhrei Acevedo-Daniels is passionate about rural community medicine. A native of Puerto Rico, she moved to the mainland US almost 20yrs ago to pursue a residency in family medicine at Merced Family Medicine Residency in California. As a National Health Service Corps scholar, she served with United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley in Mendota for nine years before moving to Idaho in 2012. For the last five years Suhrei has been honored to be working with Terry Reilly Health Services in the small, but great, community of Melba. When she is not at the clinic, Suhrei and her husband can be found homeschooling their kids or working on their small rural farm.
