Adam Greathouse is a Senior Associate, Health Policy at The ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC), which is a national trade association that advocates exclusively for large employers on health, retirement, and compensation policies at the federal, state, and local levels. Adam works on health policy development and advocacy on behalf of ERIC’s member companies with a focus on state- and local-level policies related to biosimilar medications, assessments on health plans, ACA § 1332 waivers, and telemedicine. He also works on federal-level health care issues alongside ERIC’s Senior Vice President of Health Policy, James Gelfand.
Adam joined ERIC from U.S. Senator Mark Kirk’s (R-IL) office where he worked on the Senator’s communications team. Prior to working for Senator Kirk, Adam served as Village Attorney for his hometown of West Salem, Illinois, providing counsel to the mayor and Board and representing the Village in court. He also practiced law as an Associate Attorney for Gosnell, Borden, Enloe, Sloss & McCullough, Ltd.
Adam received his Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University Law School and his Bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
