About Boise

Boise is Idaho’s state capital and largest city, with an increasingly vibrant culinary and cultural life. Weather in mid-May can run the gamut but is usually dominated by warm days and cool nights. If you plan to arrive early and/or stay late, there’s plenty to do in and around the Boise area.

Travel

The Boise Airport is served by a number of regional and major airlines and is only 15 minutes from Boise Centre.
Boise is located on Interstate 84. The most convenient route to Boise Centre is to take the I-184 spur into downtown. Boise is 429 miles from Portland, 495 miles from Seattle and 345 miles from Salt Lake city.

Lodging

There are several lodging options near the Boise Centre. We recommend getting your reservations early if you want to stay within short walking distance of the conference. There is no official Idaho Healthcare Summit hotel.

Parking

All public parking garages are free for the first hour, $2.50 for each additional hour or $12 for all day.
City Centre Garage
Directly across Front Street from Boise Centre, corner of 9th and Front Streets. Entrance on South 10th Street.
Grove Street Garage
Across 9th Street from Boise Centre, attached to Hotel 43. Entrance on south 10th Street.
Capitol Terrace Garage
770 West Main Street. Entranced on Main and Idaho.
City Centre Plaza Garage
Underneath Boise Centre East. Entrance on Capitol Blvd.
